With the new year comes the promise of exciting new discoveries. St Aidan’s Homeware Store is my first unearthed shopping treasure. After browsing the quirky assortment of vintage and beautiful home accessories, brimming with rustic charm, it’s not hard to see why I’m hankering after pretty much everything!
Set up by art director Joe McIntyre, who having worked on some of Britain’s leading homes and lifestyle magazines has a passion for all things interiors related. The concept of St Aidan’s Homeware Store is simple – finding quirky, hard-to-find pieces that add personality to the home.

Below I’ve chosen a few of my favourite key pieces, the ones I feel are most justifiable to splurge on in January.
A set of scales, with detox in the air it’s the perfect time for keeping an eye on your measures I love this charming alarm clock, sadly the long lie ins are now over and with the return to business as usual a handy wake up call is an essential A wall mounted storage rack is perfect for starting the year how you mean to go on, organised and tidy The blackboard is perfect for making lists and jotting down helpful reminders, as we ease ourselves back into our busy everyday routines.
